Project 2: Nivea
This is a collaborative self-initiated project with Emma Mckell. The aim of this project was to create a product that would act as a reminder for people to apply sunscreen to protect themselves against the risks of skin cancer.
The outcome was two sunscreen flasks; a normal cream applicator and a spray applicator, both covered in photo-chromatic paint which change colour/pattern when exposed to UV rays. We carried across the effects of sun damage onto the bottles themselves; one turning to red to represent sunburnt skin, and the other turning freckled, to remind users that the same is happening to their skin.
